About Us
Our Staff
A fully-staffed, trauma-informed team supporting adolescents and their families.
Sorenson's Ranch Treatment Facility is a fully-staffed residential program designed to support adolescents and their families through consistent, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions. Our approach provides a structured, compassionate environment tailored to meet the long-term needs of each client, with stays ranging from 12 to 18 months based on individual requirements.
Our therapeutic team includes a psychiatrist, psychologist, and clinicians specializing in reactive attachment disorder, grief, antisocial tendencies, family dynamics, substance abuse, and sexual abuse issues. These professionals are supported by over 40 trained childcare specialists, ensuring a comprehensive, nurturing care network for our students.
The education department is staffed by a dedicated school counselor, a certified special education teacher for students with mild to moderate disabilities, and educators with expertise in both core and elective subjects, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Our medical department includes a nurse and EMTs who collaborate closely to address all students' health needs, ensuring their well-being and safety. As a working cattle ranch, we also have expert horsemen who lead our Horsemanship and 4-H programs, promoting emotional regulation, responsibility, and self-confidence through meaningful interactions with animals.
